Concert of the Belgian-Congolese-Friendship

As part of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of CONGO’s independence, the Union Royale Belgo Congolaise ( URBA-KBAU), in partnership with the Léopards Club de Bruxelles, is organizing a mega-concert on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Flagey. The concert is part of the 65th anniversary of Congo’s independence. Our readers will recall that this initiative had been scheduled for June 2020 (60th anniversary) but had to be cancelled due to the Covid crisis.

On the bill:
– the Orchestre Symphonique Kimbanguiste de Kinshasa, conducted by songwriter Armand DIANGIENDA WABASOLE, grandson of Simon Kimbangu.
– saxophonist Alain CREPIN, internationally renowned Belgian songwriter. Former Major-Chef de Musique des Musiques de la Défense.
– the Brussels Gospel group of Afro-descendant Didier LIKENG.
– Congolese countertenor Serge KAKUDJI.
The exact date on which online bookings will open will be specified as soon as the ticketing agreement with Flagey has been formalized.
